Playing for Good
Playing for Good is a classical chamber ensemble and concert series committed to supporting the Vermont community's non-profit organizations. PFG is a group of friends and professional colleagues with decades of experience performing for audiences large and small throughout the Northeast.
Eager to share talents and training with simultaneously a broader yet more intimate audience, Playing for Good concerts are geared towards venues less conventional than the average concert hall, catering to those both familiar and unfamiliar with classical music.
An expansive repertoire list includes the standard classical chamber music canon along with more contemporary and cross-over compositions. Fiercely committed to the performance of live music, programs are free and open to people of all ages and demographics. Suggested donations always benefit a non-profit or charity of local interest. PFG’s goal is to inspire and give back to the community by presenting the best of classical chamber music performed at the highest professional level.
